Linsey Senior – St. Louis Portrait Photographer

Every subject I shoot portraits of has a different personality and therefore needs a different kind of approach to the shoot.   If as a photographer I fail to see this, my pictures will all look the same.  More importantly the client will not get pictures they are happy with.  Sure, it might be easy to capture perfectly staged, lighted and posed shots, but if those shots don’t capture the true personality of the subject then their value is decreased.   So what’s the point?   There is a difference between taking pictures and being an effective photographer.

Hence the easiest part of my job is taking the pictures.   Linsey likes to laugh and has a pretty carefree attitude. I think we did a pretty good job of capturing that personality in her shoot.
